Use these phrases in your English essays


The English language is one of the most interesting means of communication ever. It is   characterized by various forms that make communication easy and fun to maneuver. One of the most common aspects of the English language is the use of phrases especially in essays.
There are so many phrases that may be used to make your academic work interesting to read .Some of the most common phrases that are used include: drop in the ocean, this phrase may be used in a case whereby a person want to emphasize how mingle something else. To comprehend it better look at a drop of water in comparison with water that is found in the ocean. The comparison gives the idea of how little a supply is.
 The other common English phrase that may be used is” A house divided against itself cannot stand”. This is a phrase that gives the idea of team work. It brings forth the importance of people working together to achieve a common goal. This way a lot is achieved when people or individuals work together so as to achieve a purpose. It emphasizes on the need for individuals to come together and perform task in groups or in corporation. The other common phrases that can be used in English essays include “A picture is worth a thousand words”. This may form one of the most used phrases in the English language. Most students may find themselves using it often because it is very common among them. Most individuals use it to explain how a single picture can portray the many aspects of a subject. For instance a single picture may portray a person as charismatic, beautiful, handsome, sad, and successful and so on. There are so many things that can be learnt from a single snap. It doesn’t need a lot of explanations at all.
Students can use these phrases while they want to express themselves in an interesting way. As a means of communication, it’s effective in itself.
